24,000 visitors attended the Marmara Boat Show.
At the fair opened at Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality International Fair Center, speed and leisure boats, motor yachts, power equipment, motor and sailing boats were exhibited. Vedat Doğusel, Head of Kocaeli Branch of IMEAK Chamber of Shipping, said that they were pleased with the interest shown in the fair.
Doğusel said, “Turkey is a sea city. We have 8 thousand 33 kilometers of very beautiful coastline. Kocaeli is the most special one for us. It has coasts on both the Black Sea and the Marmara Sea. It also has Sapanca Lake. We organized such an organization so that these features can be brought to the forefront in the commercial sense and to see the commercial values here.”
